Letter from the President

Farmers Fire Insurance Company has been operating in the state of Pennsylvania, based in York, since 1853. We take great pride in the heritage and tradition we have, both within the insurance business and also within the state of Pennsylvania. We are proud of the financial strength our company has built as well as the base of loyal policy holders and employees who have been with us for many years.

We take great strides to attempt to ensure that the service we provide to you is of the highest degree of quality. One way we do that is to make sure that we have people answering the telephone when you call Farmers Fire. During business hours, a live person will answer the telephone, not an answering machine with a web of choices before you get to talk to a human being. And due to our small size we also pride ourselves in being able to respond more quickly to customer needs than many of our larger competitors.
